In what would be final shot of the special, NS train 956 comes around the curve and enters the WR Interlocking. Just passed the interlocking, the train would stop and would not move for 4 hours, while the crew tended to an over heating bearing on the rear axle of the tender. it took 3.5 hours to get from Kirkwood to WR tower in Granite City. |
